Scenes from a Film Undone
2024-ongoing
multimedia
Scenes from a Film Undone is an ongoing project that gathers fragments of my abandoned, unfinished, or lost film-related works into a counter-archive of non-production. Drawing on personal notes, scripts, official documents, visa rejections, correspondences, and memories of shoots that never became films, it examines what it means to “not make” and how incompletion itself can be practice.
The project is envisioned as a multimedia constellation and explores latency on both a personal and collective level, tracing parallels between my own suspended projects and the cycles of suppressed political activism in Iran since 2009.
