The Limbless Octopus is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel, self-published in Berlin. It follows a young Iranian woman through Berlin’s dark winter in the aftermath of an unconventional relationship, as she struggles with loss, depression, and difficult love while confronting the possibility of a visit from her immediate family. The work is a meditation on starting over and on the courage it takes to speak and live with one’s own truths.
